Release Detection Summary

The Release Detection Summary page displays results for multiple methods of release detection for a specific facility as configured in Release Detection Setup.

The tank release detection methods are displayed in a 12 month history. Additional sections are displayed for the current month. To change the display month, select your Month/Year from the dropdown at the top of the page.

Page Functions

In addition to viewing the monthly results, the following functions are available on the Release Detection Summary page.

  • Download a PDF copy of the monthly results.
  • Download a PDF copy of the monthly results in an updated format (if available).
  • Download a PDF copy of the yearly compliance report (if available).
  • Email compliance reports using an email template (if available).
  • Recalculate summary.
  • Regenerate facility compliance reports.
  • Manage comments and approvals.

Comments & Approvals

Many Titan Cloud clients mark periods as Approved to designate that the results have been finalized and/or reviewed. Marking a period as approved does not impact the underlying pass/fail results in the Release Detection Summary page.

Tip: To enable an approval workflow at the client level, select “Enable Release Detection Comments Approval Process” in Account Settings.

If automatic approvals are enabled in Release Detection Setup, the system will add a comment to confirm approval at the designated time.

Add New Comment or Approval

To manually approve a compliance period or to add a new comment, click Add New.

Select the Period, enter a Comment Date and Comment.

To mark the compliance period as approved, check the box for “Approve this compliance period” before clicking Save.

Void Existing Comment or Approval

Previously saved comments and approvals cannot be edited, “unapproved,” or deleted, but they may be voided.

To void an existing comment, click the three dots and select Void Comment.

Voided comments can be reviewed by checking the box for “Show void entries.”

Additional Results Pages

The additional pages added to the Operational Compliance tab in the facility menu are determined by selections made in the Release Detection Setup. When summary data is available for the associated release detection method, it is displayed here.

If you are relying on manual data entry to populate the Release Detection Summary, you will input test results and upload associated files on these pages.

Manual Results Entry

When applicable, results on these pages can be set manually, first by selecting the Month/Year you want to update at the top of the page.

Select the desired result from the dropdown menu or click the “Result” header to update all results together. Clicking “Result” multiple times will cycle through the options: Pass, Fail, Inconclusive, In Queue, Received.

Click Update at the bottom of the page to save.

Attach File(s)

Files can be added to individual test results by checking the box in the “Add File(s)” column.  To check all of the boxes at once, click “Add File(s)” in the header.

To attach a new file to the result, select Upload a New File, then click Upload. Select the file location on your computer, and complete the required information to designate how the file will be organized in the facility E-Files. Click Add New, then click Update at the bottom of the page to save.

To use a file that already exists in the facility's E-Files, click Use Existing, and select the file from the dropdown. Once the results are entered and the file is loaded, click Update at the bottom of the page to save.

Once a file has been added successfully, a thumbnail will appear in the “View File(s)” column. Click the thumbnail at any time to open the attached file.
