Overview
The Chase Tasks feature in the Titan Maintenance platform allows site users to proactively follow up with suppliers when a task has not been completed within the expected timeframe. This is especially useful for tasks that are overdue or nearing their Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines.
When to Use Chase Tasks
Once a task is dispatched to the supplier, the system monitors deadlines like response or completion dates based on SLA settings. If a task is approaching or past its due date, users can send a chase message to prompt action from the supplier.
How to Chase a Task
To chase a task, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the task's detail page.
- Click the 'Chase Task' button in the upper-right corner.
- Enter a message in the free text field provided.
- Click 'Chase' to send the note to the supplier.
Note: The ability to chase a task is tied to task SLA status, which reflects whether it is overdue. Overdue tasks are the only type which can be chased.
