The Supplier Task Compliance feature in the Urgent Platform enables you to prompt Supplier/Contractor users with custom questions or messages when they change the status of a task. This ensures consistent task documentation, confirms understanding of key conditions, and improves accountability during workflow transitions.

Overview

Supplier Task Compliance is triggered by task status changes. When configured, it displays a prompt to the supplier asking them to acknowledge or respond to predefined compliance questions. This is useful in workflows that require confirmation of completion steps, agreement to conditions, or simply to log relevant notes.

Step 1: Create the Compliance Questions

Navigate to: System > Custom Fields > Supplier Task Compliance
From here, you can create new compliance questions that supplier users will be prompted to answer. You also have the option to apply the question across all matrices from this screen.

Step 2: Map to Matrices

Go to: System > Matrices > Matrix Actions > Supplier Task Compliance
Use this section to assign specific compliance questions to particular matrices. This helps ensure that only relevant questions are shown for the applicable work categories or task types.

Step 3: Link to Workflow Status

Go to: System > Workflow > Status > Supplier Task Compliance
Here, link your compliance questions to specific status changes within your workflows. This ensures the question appears when a supplier updates the task to the configured status.
