Overview
The Chase Tasks feature in the Titan Maintenance platform allows site users to proactively follow up with suppliers or contractors when a task or work order has not been completed within the expected timeframe. This is especially useful for tasks that are overdue or nearing their Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines.
When to Use Chase Tasks
Once a task is dispatched, the system monitors deadlines like response or completion dates based on SLA settings. If a task is overdue, users can send a chase message to prompt action from the supplier or contractor.
How to Chase a Task
To chase a task, follow these steps:
- Locate and open the task in the Work Order / Task Summary
- Click the “Chase this task” button in the upper-right corner.

- Enter a message in the free text field provided.
- Click “Chase” to send the note to the supplier or contractor.

The note will also be saved in the “Notes” tab, where you can monitor whether it has been viewed by the contractor.

Note: The ability to chase a task is tied to task SLA status, and may only be available if the task is near due or overdue. To clarify or customize the window where this option is available, please reach out to Titan Cloud Support.
