Manage Standard Notifications for Contractor Users

Manage Notifications Configuring Supplier Notifications

Standard notifications are Email messages or SMSs that are triggered by a task status. The recipients of those standard notifications can be contractors, site users or/and management users.

Manage Notifications

Navigate to: Manage → Other → Notifications

After selecting the desired workflow, the needed user group(s), and after clicking on the search button a new screen will be displayed where we’ll be able to check the current set up.

On this new screen we can modify or check which task status are enabled, which recipients are getting standard notifications and if the notification sent is an Email or a SMS. 

Once a task or event is updated to a status with notifications enabled, the notification will be sent to the email address and/or mobile number associated with any relevant User accounts.

Configuring Supplier Notifications

Supplier records have additional options when configuring notifications. 

Go to the main Supplier summary: Manage > Other > Suppliers. 

Note: Standard supplier notifications are only sent out to the contractor/s that are managing the task 

 

Filter for the Supplier Name column open up the record, and you will be able to view the Notification tab. This screen allows you to view and update the communication preferences of the Supplier filling out the corresponding field.

 
 

The options are detailed below:

  • Valid email address formats can be entered for In Hours Email and Out of Hours Email.
    • Clicking the + symbol or pressing enter on your keyboard will add the value.
    • Holding your mouse cursor over an existing value will highlight it and allow you to delete it by clicking X.
  • For In Hours SMS and Out of Hours SMS the same logic applies, but entry is restricted to phone number entry format e.g. +447000123456.
  • For Task created, Status changed, and Task chased endpoints you can add a valid endpoint address for a web service to receive notifications (These can also be deleted or overwritten without any warning prompts).

Once your notification supplier preferences' have been applied, click Save to confirm.
