Overview

The Assets Module in Titan Maintenance enables management users to track asset performance, manage warranties, and gain analytical insights. Assets can be uploaded and managed individually or in bulk using a spreadsheet, creation wizard, or API integration.

Note: We strongly recommend ensuring that all pre-configuration steps have been completed before managing Assets. This includes:

  • Asset Profiles
  • Asset & Reactive Matrices
  • Manufacturers
  • Models

To learn more about pre-configuration, please review this resource:  Asset Configuration Requirements

Managing Assets

To review Assets, open the Manage menu and select Asset Summary.

Viewing and Editing Assets

From the Asset Summary, click the Asset Tag No to open the Asset Details, or click the lightning bolt Actions icon to:

  • Create child assets
  • Edit asset details
  • Move assets
  • View asset history

Browse through the top tabs on the asset page to review Details, Statistics, Notes, Documents, History, Templates, and Tasks.

Click Actions to use one of the following options:

  • Add Note
  • Edit
  • Write Off
  • Move
  • Create Child
  • Create Task

Create an Asset

To create assets manually,

  • On the Asset Summary page, click Operations and select Create OR
  • From any page, open the Manage menu and select Create Asset

The first step requires you to specify whether you are creating:

  • A single asset for a single site
  • A single asset that applies to multiple sites
  • Multiple assets

In each case, you must then search for and select the Site(s) to apply.

Click Next to proceed to the Details step.

In the Details step, the following items are required:

  • Asset Profile
  • Group
  • Asset
  • Manufacturer
  • Model

We strongly recommend providing as much additional information as possible, including uploading relevant documentation.

Tip: Placeholder values (e.g. `---`) for Manufacturer and Model may be selectable, however certain features in the platform, like warranty, are only available when valid and accurate details are provided.

Once the information has been provided, click Next to review details and click Finish.

Bulk Actions

Performing Bulk Uploads

To upload assets in bulk, Titan Maintenance provides a template that includes the pre-configured dropdown values unique to the tenant.

Tip: Even if you have performed a bulk upload before, we recommend downloading the template each time in case there have been updates to the Matrices, Manufacturers, or Models.

To download the template, click Operations and select Get Template.

Complete the template with information about the assets you'd like to upload.

Tip: The template does not include notation about which fields are required, as these can vary based on selected options, tenant settings, and Asset Profiles. We recommend creating an asset manually first to gain familiarity with the process.

In addition to the dropdown fields for values configured in the tenant, the Operation column tells the system whether to Create, Update, or Write Off each listed asset.

Once the assets have been added to the template, save the file and upload it back into the system using the Upload option.

Note: Incomplete or incorrectly formatted data will not be imported successfully.

Additional Operations

Use the Operations Button for more actions such as:

  • Generating barcodes
  • Exporting asset data
