What is Task Resolution? Task Resolution Process Flow Visibility of Task Resolution Data Task Resolution on the Mobile App Conclusion

The Task Resolution feature in the Titan Maintenance (Urgent) platform allows users to capture detailed information about the cause and remedy of a task during its resolution phase. This process provides valuable insights from suppliers that can help refine preventative maintenance plans and improve asset investments.

What is Task Resolution?

Task Resolution inserts an additional step into the task lifecycle during status transitions. When configured, users are prompted to select a resolution cause and remedy from predefined lists. Techniche can provide a standard list, or tailor the options to client-specific requirements.

Task Resolution Process Flow

When a task transitions into a status with resolution flags enabled, the resolution steps will appear between the Task Compliance and Signature Capture steps. If both cause and remedy are enabled, they will appear in the following order:

- Status
- Site Hazard Confirmation
- Task Compliance
- Task Resolution Cause
- Task Resolution Remedy
- Signature Capture

Visibility of Task Resolution Data

Once submitted, the Task Resolution Cause and Remedy will appear in the Task Details and will also be logged in the Timeline tab. Users can add these columns to the Task Summary page using the 'Change Columns' or 'Additional Filters' options.

Task Resolution on the Mobile App

On the mobile app, the task resolution interface is optimized for smaller screens. Matrix options are displayed as cards, and users can add notes as they select causes and remedies. Once completed, they are returned to the task interface.

Conclusion

Task Resolution supports better decision-making by capturing real-world issue data directly from suppliers. If you wish to enable this feature in your environment, Please contact the Techniche support team.
