Recurring Tasks
Learn how to create and manage recurring tasks or work orders in Titan Maintenance.
Table of Contents
The Recurring Tasks module allows you to create work orders that repeat over time at a designated frequency. This feature helps streamline routine maintenance or other repeatable workflows across your sites.
Note: This module is not enabled in new tenants by default. Please contact Titan Maintenance to request access if it is not available in your tenant.
Create a Recurring Task
To create a recurring task or work order, navigate to:
Manage > Recurring Task Batches > Create Batch
This will launch the Recurring Tasks Wizard—a step-by-step setup process to configure and schedule your tasks. Below is a breakdown of each step:
Name Your Batch
- Required: Provide a name for the recurring task batch.
- Optional: Add a description to help identify the batch.
- Set Frequency: Choose how often the task should recur (e.g., every 6 months).
Select Sites
- Search for and select the site(s) where the task will apply.
- Chosen sites will appear in the Selected Sites section.
- A badge will update to show the total number of selected sites.
Choose a Reactive Matrix
Select a Reactive Matrix to associate with the batch. This defines the logic and parameters for how the recurring task behaves in the system.
Add Task Details
This screen has multiple details and will mirror the settings specific to your tenant’s task creation process. Below is an example of a pre-configured batch detail screen.

(Optional) Assign an Asset Matrix
- Choose an asset matrix item to associate with the task.
- When the task generation processor runs, it will automatically match relevant assets (based on site and matrix criteria) to the task.
Select Start Dates
- Review the selected sites.
- Use the checkboxes to choose one or more sites.
- Use the calendar tool to pick a start date (must be in the future).
- Click Update to apply the start date to the selected sites.
