Learn about the two enhancements releasing in late August for Titan Maintenance (Urgent) Mobile
Table of Contents
These enhancements will be deployed on 25 August between 09:00–10:30 BST, but may take additional time to appear in your mobile app due to app store approval processes.
1. Parent/Child Task Bundling (Mobile)
What it is
Want to learn more about task bundling? Click here!
How it works
- Open a parent task (for example, a scheduled task with ten associated child tasks).
- Go to the Children Tasks tab within the parent task.
- Select one, several, or all child tasks.
- Change the status of all selected tasks at once, using a guided wizard.
- The wizard mirrors the web app experience, including status-specific questions that must be answered before a task can move to its next status.
Key Takeaway
Users can now update the status of multiple child tasks in one action, through a wizard, directly from the mobile app — no need to update tasks one at a time or switch to the web app.
2. New Mobile Task Experience (Opt-In Setting)
What it is
A new setting will let users opt into a redesigned task experience across the mobile app, anywhere tasks or task lists appear.
What's included
- Improved filtering when searching for tasks.
- Improved sorting of task results.
- Redesigned task cards that are cleaner and more intuitive.
- A smoother workflow for adding tasks from Search into a technician's task list.
- A new task preview option, so users can review task details before confirming/adding it, to help ensure they've selected the right task.
We'll be sharing images to preview the look and feel of the new experience ASAP!
Availability
This is an optional experience, toggled on in Settings. It is not on by default and does not replace the existing task experience unless the user opts in.
