Disconnect a Facility
Learn how to turn off a facility that is no longer in use.
If a facility is no longer active, we recommend disconnecting it from Titan Cloud to avoid any impact on client-wide features such as reports or release detection.
The items in this article must be disconnected manually in this order as part of the facility deactivation process.
Tank Mapping
In the Facility Profile, the “Tank ID for Automation (ATG)” for each tank is the key to polling inventory data. Before disconnecting site polling, this ID must be removed from each tank.
How to Remove
Navigate to the Facility page and select “Tanks” from the menu on the left side of the screen.
Click the name of each tank to open the Tank & Line Profile.

For each tank, delete the value in the “Tank ID for Automation (ATG)” field.

You may also want to use the “Tank Status” drop-down list to designate the tank as permanently closed, but this is not required.
Make sure to save your changes by pressing the Enter (or Return) key on your keyboard or scrolling to the bottom of the page to press the “Update” button.
Disconnect ATG
Once the Tank IDs have been removed, you will use the Connectivity Wizards to follow a two-step process to deactivate and disconnect ATG polling.
In the facility menu on the left of the screen, click “ATG Management” and “Connection.” You should see the updates you've made to the tanks on this page.
Update Polling Status
At the top right, select “Update Polling Status” in the drop-down menu and click “go.”

When the Add/Change Connectivity Parameters Wizard opens, select “Inactive” in the “Polling Status” drop-down menu. Then, click “Continue.”

On the screen that follows, click “Confirm."
You will see a success banner (temporary, only appears for 20 seconds), and route back to the Add/Change Connectivity Parameters Wizard for the next step.

Remove Polling Source Mapping
For the second step, select “Remove polling source mapping” in the “Polling Status” drop-down menu. Check the box next to “Inactivate and delete previously mapped site,” and click “Continue.”

On the screen that follows, click “Confirm" to save changes.
Verify Polling Disconnection
To make sure all changes have taken effect, navigate back to the Facility Profile, and click the “ATG Info” tab.
Under “ATG Connection,” verify that there are no values in the “Polling Source” and “Polling ID” fields.

Remove from Release Detection
Finally, if the site is set up for Release Detection, this must also be disconnected manually.
In the facility menu, select “Operational Compliance” and “Release Detection.”
De-select the checkbox next to “Track Release Detection for this location.”
