Configuration Management is a tool that may be used to remotely manage water level thresholds, date/time stamps, and a variety of other ATG configuration settings.

Note: The Configuration Management tool is only supported for Veeder Root 350/450 connections at this time.

Access Configuration Management

Navigate to the desired facility, then select ATG Management and Configuration Management in the facility menu on the left side of the screen.

Not seeing it?

If you do not see the Configuration Management option under ATG Management in the facility menu, you may enable it from the Facility Profile.

In the Facility menu on the left side of the screen, click Facility Info and Facility Profile.

Select the ATG Information tab, and click the pencil edit icon for the top section, “ATG Installation.”

Check the box under “Supports Configuration Management” and press Save.

Functions Overview

At the bottom of the Configuration Management tool is a row of buttons with distinct functions.

Save Configuration – Allows the user to save changes to the Titan Cloud database without making any changes to the gauge itself.

Query Gauge – Allows the user to reset all data points and information in the the Titan Cloud database to match the gauge’s master record.

Check for Changes – Runs a query to identify any differences between the configuration in the Titan Cloud database and the gauge's Master Record.

Compare Changes – Allows the user to compare differences identified by the “Check for Changes” function and make updates where appropriate. This function is covered in more detail later in this article.

Update Baseline - Similarly to “Query Gauge,” this function allows the user to reset the Titan Cloud database to match the gauge's master record. This uses a more updated process on the backend that more closely matches the “Config Mgmt” Fuel Reports.

Updating Configurations

At the top of the Configuration Management tool, the tabs (General, Receivers, Tanks, Sensors, etc.) and sub-tabs organize the data points that can be managed remotely. Once a change has been made, click Save Configuration at the bottom of the tool.

For example, to change tank limits, a user would do the following:

  1. Select the Tanks tab.
  2. Select the Limits sub-tab.
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select the tank.
  4. Make the desired changes.
  5. Click Save Configuration.
  6. Confirm the changes by pressing Ok.

Comparing Configurations

Check for Changes

In order to compare differences between the way the ATG is configured in the Titan Cloud database and in the master record, it's important to make sure you have the most up to date information to review.

To do this, click the Check for Changes button. A series of prompts will walk you through the process.

  1. Confirm that you're sure you want to check the gauge for configuration changes
  2. Acknowledge that the function has been queued for processing
  3. Acknowledge the process has been completed successfully.

Additionally, you will see a status message at the top of the page to let you know whether the function is queued, processing, or has run successfully. The full process should not take longer than a few minutes.

Compare Changes

Once the check for changes has completed, you can click Compare Changes. This opens the Compare Configuration page in a separate tab, containing an actionable report of the differences identified.

Each row in the table highlights a difference between the data in the Titan Cloud database and the Gauge master record.

You may click Select All at the top or bottom left of the table to check the boxes for every row, or you may select rows individually.

At the bottom left of the table, you may choose to Update Database, Update Gauge, or Cancel.

Update Database - All selected fields will be updated in the Titan Cloud database to match the value present in the gauge master record.

Update Gauge - All selected fields will be updated in the gauge master record to match the value present in the Titan Cloud database.

Cancel - No changes will be made to either system and the tab will be closed.
