The ATG Terminal Connect feature allows users to remotely interact with an on-site ATG. Any individual user can add command strings and batches of command strings to a library for quick access. This process is described in this article. However, it may be beneficial for a user with a more administrative role to pre-set libraries for other users in their organization.

If you have access to the ATG Terminal Connect Configuration page, you'll see a button in the top right corner of the ATG Terminal Connect page.

Page Overview

Like many pages in Titan Cloud, the ATG Terminal Connect Configuration is organized as a grid. You can find tips for organizing and customizing the grid to meet your needs in this article.

By default, the grid contains any commands or command batches that have been created for users in your organization. You can edit any existing line item by clicking the pencil edit icon at the left.

Add a Command

The Command String Library can be configured to store a list of individual commands that can be run with just one click.

To add a command for other users to access, click Add New. Provide the requested information (details below), and click Save.

Command Name: A recognizable name for the command to be selected in a drop-down list.

Command String: The Veeder Root “I” command.

Settings: Unless your ATG Terminal Connect is configured otherwise, we recommend selecting "Send Ctrl-A before command string", and leaving the other two unchecked.

Assign Command To: This is a list of all of the Roles available in your organization. Click a role then the “>” right-facing arrow button to move it into the “Selected Roles” block.

Add a Batch of Commands

The Batch of Command Strings Library can be configured to contain selections of commands to be run all at once.

To add a batch for other users to access, click Add Batch. Provide the requested information (details below), and click Save.

Batch Name: A recognizable name for the batch to be selected in a drop-down list.

Command Strings: A string of comma-separated Veeder Root “I” commands.
