You can now group related reactive tasks under a single Parent task, giving you a clear overview of connected work and the ability to manage it all from one place.
A Parent task acts as a coordination hub — it tracks the progress of its children, shows a live completion count, and lets you take action across all of them without leaving the task.
- Link existing tasks to a parent using the new Link Child Task option in the Actions menu, with filtering by site, supplier, and workflow to avoid mismatches.
- Create a new child task directly from the parent — it's automatically linked on creation.
- Unlink a child task at any time, either individually or in bulk from the Child Tasks tab.
- A Children X / Y Complete rollup pill on the parent updates automatically as child statuses change.
- The parent's SLA date always reflects the earliest SLA across all its children — this updates in real time as children are added, removed, or completed.
- The parent auto-completes when all children reach a final status. Reopening a child reactivates the parent accordingly.
Parent & Child relationships are currently available for reactive tasks only. Scheduled task bundling is coming in a future release.
