Tip 1: Refresh or update your web browser
Refresh your web browser. Click the circular arrow next to the address bar to reload the page and quickly resolve a variety of data loading issues.
A "hard refresh" will go a step further to reload cached information.
- Windows: Ctrl + F5
- Mac: ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + R
Update to the latest version. Follow these links to find instructions for updating these common web browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
Tip 2: Optimize machine performance
Check your task manager. Are any other programs using a large amount of your computer’s processing power?
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + Esc
- Mac: ⌘ Command + Option + Esc
Close unused windows, tabs, or applications. If possible, close or pause any high-usage processes identified in the task manager. We also recommend closing any applications you’re not using, as running multiple applications at once can be resource intensive.
Try a restart. If you haven't fully restarted your computer in a while, doing so can clear up memory and improve overall performance.
Tip 3: Check your internet connection
Ensure you’re connected to the internet. A weak or unstable connection can cause slow performance. You can quickly test the speed of your internet connection at speedtest.net.
Restart your router or try a wired connection. Sometimes, simply restarting your router can improve your connection speed. You may also try using an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi for a more stable connection.
Are you on a company-owned internet connection or VPN? It’s possible there are firewall settings restricting bandwidth. Try disconnecting from the VPN or company connection and loading the page again using a different connection method. If this resolves the issue, please reach out to your IT department.
Tip 4: Try smaller tasks
Titan Cloud Edge contains vast amounts of data, and trying to load or process too much at once can cause slowness or errors.
If you’re encountering performance issues while loading a grid full of data, try limiting your search parameters. If you’re having difficulty downloading or uploading multiple files at once, try smaller batches.
