To configure global Inventory Variance profiles for multiple facilities, open click the nine dots in the top left corner and select Administrative Console. In the side menu, select Configuration and Inventory Variance Profile Setup. 

Click the pencil edit icon to update an existing global profile or click Add New. 

Add or Edit Profile

At the top of the modal, use the dropdown to select Compliance or Operational as the Profile Type. 

Compliance: Output is formatted to help manage regulatory obligations

Operational: Output is formatted to help optimize fuel levels and detect events like theft or leaks.

Admin Setup

Select a Period of Block or Rolling, Report Type of Inventory Reconciliation Worksheet or Book Inventory Variance, and add an Effective Date. For Units, you may select Liters, Imperial Gallons, or US Gallons. Select an Activity Template if applicable. 

Profile Basics

Input values for Inventory Period in Days (7, 10, 30, or Monthly), Percent Rule, +/- Units, and select select the desired options for “Fail for Inventory Variance” and “Variance Calculated from the Larger of.” 

Failure Conditions

A period will be considered failing if one or more items checked in this section are present. 

Apply Rule To

This section designates which facilities this profile will apply to. Existing selections will appear in a grid and may be removed by clicking the minus icon. 

Click the Add New button to select facilities by state, county, or Facility Group.

Save

Click Update or Add New at the bottom of the modal to confirm the setup.
