Fuel Carrier Setup Add New Fuel Carrier Edit Existing Fuel Carrier Fuel Carrier Settings Fuel Terminal Setup Add New Fuel Terminal Edit Existing Fuel Terminal Fuel Terminal Settings

Configuring Fuel Carriers and Terminals at the client level allows you to:

  • Designate fuel carrier and terminal information for individual tanks at the facility level.
  • Automatically assign Activities to the correct carrier when high or low tank volume is detected.

To begin setting up fuel carriers and terminals in Titan Cloud, click the nine dots to open the global menu and select Administrative Console. 

Fuel Carrier Setup

In the Administrative Console menu, click Configuration and Fuel Carrier Setup.

Add New Fuel Carrier

To add a new fuel carrier, click the Add New button. 

Enter a name, review the settings, and click Add New to save. 

Edit Existing Fuel Carrier

To edit an existing fuel carrier, click the pencil edit icon. When edits have been made, click Update to save. 

Fuel Carrier Settings

The following settings may be managed when adding or editing a fuel carrier.

Setting Description
Active

Designate the carrier as active or inactive.

 

*Only active carriers are added to the Fuel Carrier dropdown menu when configuring tanks. 

Create Activities for Outages If enabled, an Activity will be created whenever a Low Product Alarm is received.
Create Activities for High Inventory Conditions

If enabled, an Activity will be created whenever tank volume exceeds the Excessive Volume Tolerance amount over a 30-day average. 

 

*This is based on tank setup. 

Fuel Carriers Assigned To If Outage or High Inventory Activities are created, the user selected here will be the user assigned to those Activities.

Tip: If you're utilizing the Activities for High Inventory Conditions, make sure to set Volume Limit and Tolerance levels on your tanks! To do this, navigate to the Tank Setup page, and scroll to the Fuel Carrier Information section.  

  • Excessive Volume Limit is the maximum gallon amount you want at any given time in the tank.
  • Excessive Volume Tolerance is how much variance you will allow over the Excessive Volume Limit. 
 

Fuel Terminal Setup

In the Administrative Console menu, click Configuration and Fuel Terminal Setup.

Add New Fuel Terminal

To add a new fuel terminal, click the Add New button. 

Enter a name and click Add New to save. 

Edit Existing Fuel Terminal

To edit an existing fuel terminal, click the pencil edit icon. When edits have been made, click Update to save. 

Fuel Terminal Settings

The following setting may be managed when adding or editing a fuel terminal.

Setting Description
Active

Designate the terminal as active or inactive.

 

*Only active terminals are added to the Terminal dropdown menu when configuring tanks.
