For an Android phone or tablet: Google Play Store
Login
Tip: A Titan Cloud User account is required to access the AFI app. Additionally, the role must be configured with the following two permissions.
1 - The User account must have “Mobile App - Advanced Facility Inspections” access enabled under API Permissions.

2 - The user's Role must include Advanced Facility Inspections permissions.

Once the app is installed on your mobile device, use your Titan Cloud username and password to log in.

If you have access to multiple client accounts, you will be prompted to select a Client before opening the Inspections page.

Inspections Page
On the Inspections page, you may open an existing inspection, or you may create a new inspection.
Tip: We recommend opening or creating the inspection before going on-site in an area with strong Wi-Fi or cell service! This will ensure everything loads on your device beforehand in case the site has poor reception.
Open an Existing Inspection
To locate a specific inspection, you may filter by Facility, Inspection Profile, Date, and/or Status.

The Filter by Facility field defaults to the first alphabetical facility you can access. To open a different facility, you may type the facility name, or you may click the x to clear the current value and use the downward arrow to open a dropdown list. You may also click the filter button to expand the advanced search options.

The Filter by Inspection Profile field contains all available state-mandated or custom inspection forms for the selected site. If you do not see the profile you're looking for, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
The Filter by Status section uses the following icons:
Up-facing Arrow: Open Inspection
Clock: Pending Review
Checkmark: Completed

Tip: Next to the status, you may also see a Sync icon. This indicates that there is some content in the inspection that has not yet been synced with Titan Cloud.

Once you've located the inspection you're looking for, tap it to open.
Create New Inspection
To create a new inspection, tap the Create Inspection button.

Use the Facility dropdown list to select the facility. This value will determine which state-mandated or custom forms are available to select as the Inspection Profile.
Tip: If the Inspection Profile you're looking for is not listed, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
The Inspection Date will default to today's date and the Inspector will default to the logged-in user if the user is associated with the selected facility and profile.

Tip: If the user is not populating in the Inspector field, check out these troubleshooting steps.
Tap Create to confirm selections and open the new inspection.

Perform Inspection
After opening an existing or new Inspection, the screen that opens is where all data is entered while performing the on-site inspection.
Each section may be collapsed by default. Tap a section header to expand, or tap Expand All in the top left corner. Tap again to collapse the section(s).

Within the Inspection Page, you'll not only see the questions from the state or custom form, but you'll see information populated from Titan Cloud specific to that facility's setup. This may include tanks, lines, dispensers, canopies, sumps, and ATGs.
The pre-populated setup data ensures inspectors can review the actual equipment installed at the site, increasing accuracy and efficiency of the inspection process. If there is a mismatch between the equipment on site and what's listed in the Inspection Page, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for next steps.
Required Fields
Some inspection profiles have required questions that must be answered before the inspection can be completed. These are marked with red highlights.
If the red highlights are not displaying by default, tap Inspection Details in the top right corner of the screen. Then, tap the checkmark next to Show Validation Warnings.

Upload Photos
When applicable, photos can be attached to Inspection responses by tapping the photos icon next to the question.

At the bottom of the screen, select an icon to take a new photo or upload an existing photo. If one or more photos has already been uploaded for this question, the delete icon will also be available.

After taking or selecting a photo, you have the option to add comments at the bottom of the screen. You may also tap an icon to take or select an additional photo, or delete the uploaded photo.
When you're ready to return to the Inspection, tap the “back” arrow at the top left of the screen.

You should now be able to confirm the photo(s) uploaded successfully to the Inspection.

Complete Inspection
To submit the inspection, tap Inspection Details at the top right corner of the screen.
Select the checkmark next to Complete Inspection, then tap OK in the prompt that follows to confirm your understanding that no further edits can be made.
If the Inspection Profile does not require a review step, the inspection status is updated to Complete.
Tip: Some inspectors wait to mark the inspection as complete until they are in an area with strong Wi-Fi or cell reception. If you complete the inspection in the field while offline, it may be synced automatically or manually later. Please see the Offline Inspections section below.
Review Inspection
Some customers require an approval workflow before the inspection can be marked as complete. This can be set by an admin using the “Inspection Requires Review” setting in the AFI Profile.
When this is the case, completing the inspection will update the status to Pending Review instead of Complete.
Users with access to review the inspection can then follow the same steps to complete the inspection and update the status to Complete.
Offline Inspections
Inspections can be completed offline and synced to Titan Cloud automatically when you reconnect or manually at a time of your choosing.
Automatic Syncing
Automatic background synchronization is enabled in the AFI app by default. This means that when your device is offline, the app will try to reconnect and automatically sync inspection data any time one of the following events occur:
- You log in to the app
- You open an inspection
- You exit an inspection page
- Your device reconnects to the internet
To verify that the background synchronization setting is enabled, tap the three lines at the top left of the page to open the main menu. Near the bottom of the menu, tap Settings.
To ensure automatic syncing is active, toggle Enable Background Synchronization into the ON position.

Additionally, you may enable a scheduled notification to alert you if any inspections need to sync. Toggle the “Notify me about not sync inspections in the background” into the ON position, and configure the notification time frame.
In the image above, the app is set to send a notification if un-synced inspections are detected every 24 hours at noon. You could also use this feature to send a notification for un-synced inspections every 2 hours between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, for example.
If background synchronization is enabled, simply logging in to the app will trigger the automatic sync. However, it's possible that you may still need to manually sync an inspection.
Manually Sync the Current Inspection
While an inspection is open, you can tap the three lines at the top right corner of the screen to open the options menu.
Select Sync Now to sync all data from the current inspection to Titan Cloud.

Manually Sync Multiple Inspections
From the Inspections Page (home screen), tap the three lines at the top left corner of the screen to open a menu panel.
If any inspections are currently un-synced, you should see a red notification next to Sync Content. Tap this option to show all currently un-synced inspections.
Select one or more inspections and tap Sync.
