Load Optimizer

First, navigate to the Dispatch Schedule Builder (DSB).
Open DSB as a Supplier
From the Supplier home page, click the Universal Dispatch & Logistics tile.
OR click the three lines to open the main menu and select Dispatch Schedule Builder.
Open DSB as a Carrier
From the Carrier home page, click the three lines to open the main menu and select Dispatch Schedule Builder.
Then, click Load Optimizer at the top right of the page.
Use the filters at the top of the page to designate date, region, location, shift, and trailer for the optimizer to evaluate, then select Apply to populate the grid below.
Select the DR orders to assign to the selected trailer(s) and click Optimize Load.
The system will auto-assign loads to trailers based on cost and route optimization. If a load extends beyond shift hours, it will be placed in the Overflow queue.
Tips: Keep the following in mind to run the Load Optimizer successfully:
- Trailers MUST be configured with compartments.
- Selected trailers MUST be assigned to the shift you wish to optimize.
- For manually created DRs/orders, quantity MUST = the exact capacity of one of the compartments.
- The load optimizer was designed to assign and optimize future deliveries and will NOT work for a shift that has already started.
- Individually assigned orders that create a non-full truck will fail.
