Use the legacy Employee Training module to manage operator records and assign Class C operator training.

Access

Click the nine dots in the top left corner to open the global menu, and select Gateway. In the Gateway menu, under EnviroCloud, select Employee Training. 

Employee Records 

In order to manage an employee in the Operator A, B, or C list, the employee must exist in the Employee Records list. 

Depending on how your organization utilizes this module, employees may be added to the list automatically using an API integration, or they may be entered manually on this screen.

To access the employee list, click Employees in the menu on the left side of the screen. 

 

Add a New Employee 

To manually add an employee to the list, click Add New. 

Input the employee's information and click Add New.  

 

Manage an Existing Employee

Use the Search panel to locate an existing employee by number, name, status, or hire date range. 

Tip: To see the full employee list without specifying search parameters, simply click Go. 

 

If an existing employee's record needs to be updated, click the employee name. Make the necessary changes to the Employee Detail card and click Update to save changes.

You may also click Delete to remove the employee from the list, however please note this will also remove the employee from the Class A, B, and/or C operator lists when applicable. 

If the employee should not be fully deleted from all lists, we recommend adding a termination date and selecting Inactive for the employee's status.

 

Class A Operators 

To access the Class A Operator employee list, select Class A Operators in the left-side menu. 

 

Add a New Class A Operator 

To add an employee to the Class A Operator list, click Add New.  

 

Select the operator from the Employee dropdown list and complete the information specific to the selected employee. When all information has been populated, click Add New to save the record. 

 

Tip: If the operator is certified in multiple states, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking each applicable state in the list. 

 

 

Manage an Existing Class A Operator

Use the Search panel to locate an existing Class A Operator by employee number, name, facility, or operator status.

Tip: To see the full Class A Operator list without specifying search parameters, simply click Go. 

 

 

To update an existing operator, click their name in the list. Make the necessary changes to the Operator Detail card and click Update to save changes.

Tip: If the operator is certified in multiple states, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking each applicable state in the list. 

 

 

You may also click Delete to remove the operator from the list. This will only apply to the current list, and will not remove the operator from the Employee list or other Operator lists. 

 

Class B Operators 

To access the Class B Operator employee list, select Class B Operators in the left-side menu. 

Add a New Class B Operator 

To add an employee to the Class B Operator list, click Add New.  

 

Select the operator from the Employee dropdown list and complete the information specific to the selected employee. When all information has been populated, click Add New to save the record.

Use the Search panel to locate an existing Class B Operator by employee number, name, facility, or operator status.

Class C Operators 

To access the Class C Operator employee list, select Class C Operators in the left-side menu. 

Add a New Class C Operator 

To add an employee to the Class C Operator list, click Add New.  

 

Select the operator from the Employee dropdown list and complete the information specific to the selected employee. When all information has been populated, click Add New to save the record. 

 

Manage an Existing Class C Operator

Use the Search panel to locate an existing Class C Operator by employee number, name, facility, or operator status, or assigned training course.

Tip: To see the full Class C Operator list without specifying search parameters, simply click Go. 

 

 

To update an existing operator, click their name in the list.  Make the necessary changes to the Operator Detail card and click Update to save changes.

You may also click Delete to remove the operator from the list. This will only apply to the current list, and will not remove the operator from the Employee list or other Operator lists. 

View Class C Operator Training 

Use the Search panel to locate an existing Class C Operator by employee number, name, facility, or operator status, or assigned training course, and click their name in the list.

Underneath the Operator Detail card, you will see the View/Schedule Training card. 

 

Any previously scheduled training courses will be listed on this card. 

To update existing training details, click the Course name in the list. 

To schedule a new training, click Add New. 

Schedule Class C Operator Training 

When scheduling a new training, Facility and Course are required fields. 

The Course Identification Code (CIC) is automatically generated. This is the course ID that will be required for the employee to complete the online training course. 

When “Send Information Email” is selected, an email including  the link to the training course along with the CIC will be sent to the email address listed for the selected operator.  

Click Add New to schedule the training and when applicable, send the link and CIC by email. 

Once the training is scheduled, the course must be completed in order to receive a passing result. 

After the training is complete, the Completed, Date Completed, and Result fields will populate automatically. 

A copy of the training certificate will be automatically uploaded to the Electronic File Cabinet (E-Files) for the specified facility in the “Training” File Application.

The following Reports are associated with Employee Training: 

  • Class C Operator Training 
  • Class A/B Operator Training 
  • Employee Training (Summary)
