Bulk Data Management for Important Dates
Import and Export Important Dates records in bulk in the Administrative Console.
Table of Contents
Important Dates can be managed in bulk using two tools in the Administrative Console:
Important Dates Upload | Add New or Update Records |
Data Import/Export |
Add New or Update Records Export Records |
To locate these tools, click the nine dots in the top left corner to open the global menu, and under Home, select Administrative Console.
Then, in the Administrative Console menu on the left, click Data Management.

Important Dates Upload
The Important Dates Upload tool makes it easy to load events in bulk by providing a comprehensive template with dropdown value options to match your Important Dates Configuration.
Use the arrows to select which State/Provinces and/or Facility Groups contain facilities that should be available to select from a dropdown menu in the template. Then, click Download.

Tip: You may click Download without specifying any State/Provinces or Facility Groups to generate the template without a Facility Name dropdown list. We do not recommend this, because any hand-typed data that is not an exact match to a value in Titan Cloud will not upload successfully.
The Excel file downloaded to your computer is organized with separate sheets for General Important Dates, Permits, Invoices, and Testing records. Each of these sheets is set up with columns for each available field for the corresponding record type.
Tip: If you are updating existing records, you must include the Important Date ID! Otherwise a new record will be created.
Complete the spreadsheet with the records you want to import, and save the file.
Return to the Important Dates page and click Upload.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update to process the upload and move the records into the staging area. Staged records are organized into category tabs for review.

The column at the far right of the staging area is labeled Issues. If an issue is present, the record cannot be uploaded. You may hover over the icon for an insight into why the record is invalid.

Tip: Depending on your screen, you may need to side-scroll to see the Issues column!
Make edits as needed directly in the grid, then use the checkbox toggle on the far left to select the records that should be uploaded. You may use the toggle in the column header to Select All.
Click Update again to upload the records.

Records that have been uploaded successfully will be moved into the Imported Records grid. Any invalid records will remain in the staging area, and you may continue to edit and attempt to upload them if needed.
Data Import/Export
The Data Import/Export tool can be used to upload or download Important Dates records in bulk. You can toggle between these functions using the Import and Export tabs at the top of the page.

Import
The Data Import tool is similar to the Important Dates Upload tool, except in this case you have full control over which columns are included in the template.
To configure the template, first select a Data Type from the dropdown menu.
If General, Permits, Testing, or Invoices is selected, the lists below will populate with the corresponding column headers for that Important Dates category.

All columns associated with required fields will automatically be added to the Selected Columns list, and should not be removed. You may choose any additional columns from the Available list, and use the arrows to move them over.
Tip: If you are updating existing records, you must include the Important Date ID! Otherwise a new record will be created.
When you're ready, click Download.
The Excel file downloaded to your computer will contain the columns designated in the Selected list. Complete the spreadsheet with the records you want to import, and save the file.
Return to the Data Import/Export page and click Upload.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update to process the upload and move the records into the staging area for review.
The column at the far right of the staging area is labeled Errors. If an issue is present, the record cannot be uploaded.
Tip: Depending on the template, you may need to side-scroll to see the Errors column!
Make edits as needed directly in the grid, then use the checkbox toggle on the far left to select the records that should be uploaded.
Click Update again to upload the records. Any invalid records will remain in the staging area, and you may continue to edit and attempt to upload them if needed.
Export
The Export function is an alternative to using the Download to Excel button on the Important Dates page. Depending on your use case, you may prefer either option.
Select a Data Type, then use the arrows to designate Columns, Facility Groups, Facility Statuses, Countries, State/Provinces, Facilities, and Markets for the export by moving them into the Selected lists.
Click Export to download.
