The Delivery Planning module pulls data from several areas of the Titan Cloud platform. This resource compiles where many of these data points can be found or adjusted by users.

Delivery Planning Configuration Page

Customizable rules for how Delivery Planning operates at the client level can be managed on the Configuration page. To access this page, click the Configuration button above the Delivery Planning grid.

Note: This page may only be accessed if the Delivery Planning Configuration permission is granted on the User Role Setup page.

Facilities Tab

The Facilities tab allows you to designate which sites and tanks are included in the Delivery Planning module.

Add Facilities

To add one or more new facilities to the module, click the Add Facilities button.

Use the search options at the top of the modal to filter facilities by Facility Groups and/or Facility Statuses and click Go.

Only facilities with sufficient data may be selected. Use the checkboxes to select facilities to add to Delivery Planning and click Save.

Edit Facility/Tank Status

Note: This function requires additional permissions. Status configurations for individual facilities may only be accessed if the Delivery Planning Configuration Setup permission is granted on the User Role Setup page.

Click the pencil edit icon to open the configuration page for a specific facility.

From this page, you may update the Onboarding Status for the facility, and you may update the status for specific tanks linked to that facility. Click Save to confirm.

Onboarding Facility Status options:

New: The system will queue the facility to begin processing into Delivery Planning. This state should be used when initially adding a facility to Delivery Planning, however it can also be used to reinitialize the facility and associated calculations.

In Process: Once the system begins processing a New facility, the status will change to In Process. The facility will not be present on the main Delivery Planning screen until the status transitions to Active. The time to activation is approximately 10 minutes but can take longer.

Active: The facility is available in Delivery Planning.

Inactive: This status is used to remove or deactivate a facility from Delivery Planning.

Tank Status options:

Blank: The tank is not active or present in Delivery Planning

New: The system will queue the tank to begin processing into Delivery Planning. This state should be used when initially adding a tank to Delivery Planning, however it can also be used to reinitialize the tank and associated calculations.

In Process: Once the system begins processing a New tank, the status will change to In Process. The tank will not be present on the main Delivery Planning screen until the status transitions to Active. The time to activation is approximately 10 minutes but can take longer.

Active: The tank is available in Delivery Planning. Upon editing, most tanks should be in this status.

Inactive: This status is used to remove or deactivate a tank from Delivery Planning.

Exclude Data Tab

This tab tracks otherwise active facilities and tanks that should be temporarily excluded from Delivery Planning projections or sales trend metrics.

To add a new exclusion, click Add New.

Provide the Facility, Product(s) (if applicable) and a start and end date. Specify whether to exclude from projections, sales trend, or both, and you may choose to include a comment. Click Update to save and enable the exclusion for the given time frame.

Settings Tab

The account settings page has the following settings available:

Enter Volume Increase amount to uncheck Delivery Scheduled: This is a number value that determines when the Delivery Scheduled checkbox should be unchecked.

Missing Inventory Warning (Hours): The number of hours since the last successful inventory poll until the warning icon appears on the delivery planning page for a given facility.

Missing Inventory Error (Hours): The number of hours since the last successful inventory poll until the error icon appears on the delivery planning page for a given facility.

Enable Run Out Notification?: Checkbox indicating whether or not the runout notification feature is enabled. Note: A corresponding notification template must exist in the Alarm Notification Setup page with the alarm type of Delivery Planning > Runout Alarm. Follow the instructions in the Delivery Planning Alarm Notification Setup article to configure.

Run Out (Hours) Notification Threshold: The number of hours until runout for a tank that triggers a notification.

Contact Type(s) for Delivery Planning Grid: Selections made here determine which contact types are displayed in the Delivery Planning grid's Contact column.

Use Interactive Delivery ETA: This checkbox enables the date entered in the Delivery ETA field to calculate the color-coded Runout Risk estimation in the Delivery Planning grid.

Delivery ETA Risk Thresholds: Choose the thresholds and color codes for the Runout Risk estimation field in the Delivery Planning grid. Note: Unless otherwise discussed with the Titan Cloud product team, we strongly recommend using the standard thresholds pictured below: Low=10, Med=5, High=3, Runout=0.
