One of the ways that the Titan Cloud web portal can be fully customized to your needs is with List Management. When your account is created, the dropdown lists throughout the platform contain default values, but you are encouraged to add your own values to the lists and deactivate any defaults you're not using.

Locate Dropdown List Management

Click the nine dots icon at the top left corner to open the global menu. Under Home, select Administrative Console.

In the Administrative Console menu on the left of the screen, click List Management, then Dropdown List Management.

Manage Dropdown Lists

The “Category” dropdown selector at the top of the page contains the headers for dropdown lists from all over the Titan Cloud portal.

Example: On the Tank and Line Profile page, the “Substance/Product” dropdown list is determined by the selections in the “Substance Product” category on the List Management page.

Select a Category to view the dropdown list values for that category.

Add New Values

To add new values to the dropdown list for a given category, click the Add New button.

This will open a window where you can add multiple values at once.

In most cases, you will only need to pay attention to the Display Name column. If you suspect other columns may be needed to connect the fields with other components for reporting purposes, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to coordinate with Titan Cloud engineering.

When you're finished adding new Display Names, click Add New.

This will add the new values to the grid for the category on the List Management Page, and to the dropdown list on the associated page in the Titan Cloud portal.

Edit Existing Values

Locate the dropdown list you intend to edit in the Category list.

Please note that the field header might not be an exact match in the Category list.

Example: On the Activity Log page, the dropdown list for “Type” is named “Activity Type” in the Category list.

Once opened, the category grid will contain the following columns.

Column Header Editable Description
Category Code No This is an internal value that tells Titan Cloud which dropdown list the value belongs to.
Internal Name No This is an internal value for Titan Cloud, and is not typically used.
Display Name Yes The value entered here is what is visible in the dropdown list.
Order Yes If no order is specified, dropdown list values are presented in alphabetical order.
Disabled Yes Use the toggle to disable values that should be excluded from the dropdown list.

Click Update to save changes.
